Why do I need a bookkeeper ? I already have an accountant.
We're not here to replace your accountant, we leave the auditing and taxation to them while we offer the bookkeeping to trial balance, bank reconciliations, VAT returns and other general accounting and administrative functions we specialise in. We deliver cost-effective on or off site services and deliver accurate, detailed and timely reports and files which you or your accountant can use
How do your services work ?
Firstly we'll meet to discuss your requirements. Following the consultation we proceed to deliver the most cost effective and efficient way to manage the process for you. You can assemble all your paperwork which we can collect on a regular weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis. Alternatively you can send us your documents by post, fax or email. Either way we will collate all your data in our offices, update your records and provide you with assembled paperwork, approved financial statements and management reports ready for delivery to your accountant
How much does it cost ?
Our initial consultation is free. Thereafter our aim is to provide you with an unrivalled yet cost-effective service. Al our services are designed to look after your requirements. You decide on the level of support and services you need and we agree on weekly or monthly terms
Should I be nervous about outsourcing my bookkeeping ?
Initially this decision can sem a little daunting. However you will discover very quickly that by allowing Hartland Associates to look after this important function of your business will result in peace of mind and many other advantages including cost and efficiency improvements. You can be assured that all your data is securely stored and subject to the DataPprotection Act
Do you work at my premises ?
Our approach is flexible. We can take away your data to our offices and use our own software. However if working space is available we can come to your premises to work with either your or our software whichever solution best suits your business. An increasing number of our clients have been introduced and currently use a cloud based software. This allows them to enter certain data themselves, wherever there is an internet connection. Not only does this cut costs but provides an improved understanding of the bookkeeping process.
My books haven't been done for a while. Can you help ?
Yes. No problem. Contact us as soon as possible and we will update all your records and get you organised.
Am I tied into a contract ?
We do not require you to sign a contract. I am sure though that you will value our service and remain our client for many a year.
